Despite a childhood filled with abuse, poverty, and loneliness, Les used his
love of baseball to find peace and success in life.  Not one to be told “you’ll
never make it”, he used an iron will to become a Junior Olympic Gold Medalist,
Collegiate All-American, and eventually reaching his boyhood dream as a
player in the Major Leagues.  Now a sought after public speaker, entrepreneur
and radio personality, Les’ open, emotional and impacting style connects with
his audiences on a personal level.
A fearless competitor, compassionate leader and trained observer, Les
describes the skills it takes that led him along the path of success; a path only
possible by the grace and mercy of God!

“Les loves to share his life stories, centered around baseball and his
family, with audiences of all ages. You will be touched, just as I have
been many times, when you hear him speak from his heart”

Character That Counts

“I’ve known Les almost 20 years since our playing days in Cleveland.
Les is a man of many gifts…baseball player, teacher, speaker,
communicator, motivator, friend, husband, and dad.  A man of character
God has used to impact so many.”
Kevin Seitzer, 11 yr. ML Veteran & Current Hitting Coach, KC Royals

"Les Norman  effectively communicates invaluable life skills;
unfortunately, Les is an exception rather than the "norm" -no pun
intended- when it comes to coaching impressionable young men.  What I
admire about Les is he is an accomplished Christian athlete who wants
to bring out the best in young athletes in a most respectable way - what
you see is genuine.  He truly leads by living the example, every day,
both on and off the field."
Ronnell Kayhill, Former Running Back, University of Missouri

“Les is one of the most effective communicators that I know. He has the
ability to take a difficult or complex subject and break it down into
practical information that players, coaches or moms and dads can not
only understand, but, put into practice right away. Les speaks with
conviction, compassion and knowledge. He balances his subtle humor
with a unique sincerity and as a result, his entire audience will come
away from their time with Les extremely motivated and personally
challenged. Les’ range of topics spans greatly beyond the athletic fields
into issues of character, faith and home life – he genuinely cares for
others!”
Mike Lusardi, former KC Chiefs & Royals Chaplain

"Each time I have shared a speaking engagement with Les whether in
person or on the radio I have come away with such a great feeling.  Les
is very professional, adapts to his audience, shares a great passion for
his listeners and challenges them to action.  Les understands the
importance of his faith, family and the influence he has as a former
major league player.  He has set the priorities for his life and is doing a
great job communicating his message to all of us."
