Les Norman is a former Kansas City Royals’ outfielder and current host of “Breakin’ the Norm” & the “Baseball
Tonight Pregame Show” on KC’s Sports Radio 810WHB.  Despite a difficult childhood with an abusive alcoholic
father, Les used his love of baseball as an emotional
outlet and found his sense of belonging.  From the
early age of six, Les had a dream of becoming a Major
League Baseball Player.  Through perseverance,
courage and personal accountability, Les achieved
success as a Junior Olympic Gold Medalist,
Collegiate All-American/US Olympic Team Member,
Royals Minor League Player of the Year, all
culminating in reaching his lifetime goal-becoming
a Major League Outfielder.
